Calling all aspiring entrepreneurs! Bank of Maldives (BML) has officially opened applications for its Startup Grant 2026, and it’s one of the most significant funding opportunities available to early-stage founders in the Maldives this year.
What’s on offer
Two winning applicants will each receive a grant of MVR 500,000 to launch or grow their business. On top of the funding, BML will provide a full year of business support through dedicated Relationship Managers, giving winners guidance as they build momentum.
Who can apply
The grant is open to eligible Maldivians aged 18 to 60 who have an innovative and viable business idea. Whether you’re still at the idea stage or ready to take your venture to the next level, this is your chance to put your plan in front of BML.
How to apply
Send your application and business plan to startupgrant@bml.com.mv before 2:00 PM on Tuesday, 10 November 2026.
