FahiPay today launched FahiPay for Developers, a set of payment tools and APIs that lets developers and businesses in the Maldives accept and manage digital payments inside their own apps and websites.
Under the tagline "You build the ideas. We power the payments," the launch gives local builders direct access to the infrastructure behind FahiPay. The goal is to make it simpler to create smarter, more connected digital experiences for Maldivian customers.
What developers get
FahiPay for Developers brings six capabilities together in one place:
• Payment Gateway — accept payments directly in mobile apps and on websites.
• PayMV QR — generate payment QR codes that customers can scan to pay.
• Payment Requests — send requests for payment and track their status.
• Recurring Payments — build subscriptions and other automated, repeat billing.
• Webhooks and APIs — connect business systems to FahiPay and receive payment updates in real time.
• Developer tools — documentation, a sandbox for testing, and guidance to move from first test to live integration.
Together, the tools cover the full payment journey: collecting a one-off payment, billing a customer every month, and keeping order, accounting and inventory systems in sync the moment money moves.
Built for Maldivian builders
The suite is designed for anyone building digital products in the Maldives. That includes online stores taking orders, subscription platforms billing members, service businesses collecting payments by QR, and startups building the next big Maldivian app.
