Introduction

I am an entrepreneur, business mentor, trainer, and women’s economic empowerment advocate with over 13 years of experience in management, business development, education, and community empowerment. I hold an MBA and a BBA (Hons) in Finance and currently serve as Campus Manager of Maldives National University, Kulhudhuffushi Campus. I am the Founder of HaliAli Coaching & Consultancy Services and Founder and President of AWE Maldives. Previously, I served as Manager at Business Center Corporation, where I gained extensive experience supporting MSMEs and entrepreneurs across the Maldives. Through my entrepreneurship development initiatives, including the Vuna-Yaaru Women’s Economic Empowerment Programme, I have supported aspiring and existing entrepreneurs in developing business ideas, strengthening entrepreneurial skills, and building sustainable businesses. I am also the author of Vuna-Yaaru: A Guide for MSMEs. Mentoring Support Offered: I can provide mentoring in business idea validation, business model development, business planning, financial literacy, marketing strategies, entrepreneurship skills, leadership, personal development, and business growth. My mentoring approach focuses on practical guidance, goal setting, accountability, and empowering entrepreneurs to make informed decisions. Mentoring Terms: I am open to supporting early-stage startups and aspiring entrepreneurs one-to-one mentoring, and group sessions subject to mutual availability. Initial mentoring consultations can be offered voluntarily, while longer-term structured mentoring or consultancy arrangements may be discussed based on the scope and commitment required. I am particularly passionate about supporting women, youth, and entrepreneurs from island communities, helping them turn ideas into viable and sustainable businesses.
