**Esfiya** is a homegrown Maldivian digital storytelling and publishing platform that empowers writers to share their creativity and connect with readers across the Maldives. Created to make publishing more accessible, Esfiya provides an open platform where aspiring and established writers can publish Dhivehi stories, build their audiences, receive feedback and develop their writing skills without the barriers of traditional publishing. Over the years, Esfiya has become a creative space for the Maldivian literary community, helping emerging writers gain recognition while giving readers easy access to a diverse collection of locally written stories. Built and continuously developed by Maldivians, Esfiya demonstrates how local technology can preserve and promote the Dhivehi language, nurture creative talent and transform the way stories are shared and enjoyed.
