**Ali Arif** is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of FahiPay, a licensed payment service provider in the Maldives. A self-taught entrepreneur with a passion for technology and innovation, Arif began his journey by exploring web development and creating digital platforms to solve everyday challenges. He founded Esfiya, a community-driven digital publishing platform that has helped Maldivian writers share their stories and reach wider audiences. He later co-founded FahiPay in 2017 with a vision to make digital payments simpler, more accessible and convenient for Maldivians. Through FahiPay, Arif has contributed to the growth of the Maldives' digital payment ecosystem, overcoming regulatory, technical and industry challenges while continuing to develop locally built financial solutions. His entrepreneurial journey reflects a belief in continuous learning, persistence and the potential of homegrown technology to create meaningful change.
